The 17 Investment Skincare Products I'm Buying in 2021 https://ift.tt/3oDerta

Simply put, it's our job to find the best beauty products out there for you. From the newest serum to the hottest lipstick color to the dry shampoo that will change your life, we will find it, test it, and let you know what we think. We're not complaining. It's a pretty fun gig, and we'll volunteer to be beauty guinea pigs any day.

But one of the cool things to come out of this is finding out what products you're loving and buying. It helps us figure out what you want to learn more about and what you're into so we can bring even more personalized recs to you.

Because we share a lot of our favorites with you every single day, we recognize it might be hard to keep up. So we've decided to put together a handy weekly list of what we love and what you love—consider this a CliffsNotes, one-stop shop of what's really trending and worth adding to your cart at this very moment.

This week, I'm sharing the skincare products I plan on investing in this year. Take a look at my list below. Am I missing something? Is there another product I should put on my skincare bucket list? Send me a DM.

Practically everyone I know (and I mean everyone) raves about this serum. It's supposed to prevent wrinkles, stimulate cell turnover, and leave your skin bright and healthy. Normally, I would balk at spending over $100 on a serum, but I did spend $166 on my favorite C E Ferulic last year, so I understand that some products are just worth it.
This is another cult-favorite luxury product that I hear really lives up to the hype. The cream promotes the regeneration of the body's stem cells and reduces the signs of aging. It's perfect for dry skin because it restores the skin barrier and contains nourishing ingredients like lipids, argan oil, evening primrose oil, and avocado oil.
I finally splurged on this serum last year, and I don't regret it at all. I'm almost down to the last drop of my first bottle and am ready to reorder. Yes, it's pricey, but I find it leaves my skin ultra glowy, even on Zoom calls without a ring light! Plus, you just need a few drops a day—one bottle has lasted me about four months.
I bought this after hearing my co-workers talk about how good it is, and I wasn't disappointed. I love that it exfoliates but isn't harsh at all. My face always feels clean but not stripped dry every time I use it. I'm definitely buying this one again this year when I run out.
These two-step peel pads are on my to-try list this year. They contain glycolic, salicylic, and lactic acids to reduce the signs of aging, unclog pores, and support cell renewal.
I really think 111Skin's De-Puffing Mask will fit just right in with my self-care routine. The cooling mask reduces puffiness while firming skin—all in 20 minutes. Beauty editor Erin Jahns sold me on it when she wrote, "These sheet masks make me believe in the extraterrestrial. Seriously, they're just that magical, and every time I apply one of these unique hydrogel masks, I'm left feeling like my skin has been touched by an alien (in a good way!)."
I'm looking for more ways to keep my skin healthy and strong as I get older, and even though I just turned 32, I'm willing to invest in some products that can make me feel good in the long-term. This serum reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, rejuvenates the skin, and provides intense hydration.
So many people whose recommendations I trust a lot love Nécessaire's bodywash, so it's going on my shopping list. While $25 might seem like a lot for a bodywash, especially since I normally use a drugstore Dove Beauty Bar, I'm thinking this purchase will be made in the name of self-care. Plus, the formula is nonirritating and made with plant-derived ingredients.
This is another cleanser that's on the pricier side for me (i.e. not a low drugstore price) that I plan on buying again this year. The clean formula is made with kale, spinach, and green tea to cleanse and soothe skin. I love the gel consistency and how it feels so refreshing.
I'm obsessed with RéVive's face sunscreen, so the body version is on my must-try list. It provides UVA and UVB protection, and it has antioxidants and glycerin to neutralize free radicals and leave your skin moisturized.
Here's another reorder for me—in fact, I just bought one of these last week. It's one of my favorite night creams because it contains retinol but doesn't leave my skin irritated at all. I always feel like my skin is brighter and firmer after applying this moisturizer.
Tatcha's Dewy Skin Cream is one of my favorites in rotation, so I'm intrigued by this serum version. It contains lactic acid, which promotes cell turnover, but it also hydrates the skin thanks to hyaluronic acid and squalane.
Sometimes, you just need a face mask to de-stress both your skin and your mind. This natural gel mask is ultrahydrating, with hyaluronic acid and a 13-flower blend to improve your skin tone.
This is another product that I hear my co-workers talking about often, so I've been, as they say, "influenced." The product really does it all: brighten, resurface, renew, tighten, equalize, and defend. It has ingredients such as antioxidants, vitamin C, vitamin E, peptides, retinol, hyaluronic acid, and AHAs.
It looks like I'm not going to be able to get a facial in person any time soon, so I'm thinking the next best thing is to get a facial massager. This one helps you get the same lifting and stimulating feeling that you would get at a spa. You can also use it to really get your skincare products to sink in.
Charlotte’s Magic Cream is a favorite with Who What Wear editors. It leaves your skin super moisturized and glowing. The formula also stimulates collagen production and fights free radicals.
I'm ready to splurge on a fancy eye cream this year, too. This one from RéVive promotes cell renewal and hydrates the skin around the eyes, which can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. It's recommended to apply this both morning and night. Next up, I'm Cleaning Out My Beauty Drawer for 2021—Here's What I'm Keeping and Ditching
