75 Days Later and This Is What Our Office Is Wearing While WFH https://ift.tt/2yIRBwe

Being cooped up at home can bring up a lot of feelings. Our world is currently in a state of self-isolation and social distancing due to the coronavirus—something we are not typically accustomed to as a culture. While we are all attempting to band together as a society to do our part by staying inside, that doesn't mean we can't get creative with alternative ways to connect to one another. And in this new series, we're connecting via our favorite at-home outfits. Next up: the stylish employees of Who What Wear.

Believe it or not, it's been 75 days since our office closed its doors and mandated its work-from-home policy. With the future still remaining fairly uncertain, our company is taking any chance it can get to lift spirits and conjure up new ways we can all feel connected while still being apart. Since we do work at a fashion publication, I thought it would be fun to connect by checking in on the employees of Who What Wear and find out what they are wearing after being quarantined for over 75 days. Not to my surprise, the team really showed up. Donning everything from the latest trends (tie-dye sweatshorts and ribbed tanks) to summer's most popular must-haves (floral dresses and strappy sandals), the women ahead are proving that although the world around us is different, getting dressed every day and expressing your personal style is always a good idea.

Ahead, hear from some of our most stylish Who What Wear employees on what they are wearing while working from home these days, and shop all the items you'll need to re-create their looks.

"Big surprise… I’m WFH in neutrals, and so is my pup! Decided to break out my light beige linen pants that I adore wearing when the summer months hit my calendar." — Emily Gerstein, Advertising Sales Associate
"Any top with bike shorts is an instant outfit these days. Today I picked this colorful patchwork tee to spark a little outfit joy." — Kat Collings, Editor in Chief
"Keeping it comfy, cozy, and neutral today. Inspired by all of the monochrome lewks that Rihanna has given us year after year." — Kia Topps, People & Talent Coordinator
"All summer, I just wear men's shirts over everything. The Madewell men's section is a treasure trove of perfect relaxed-fit button-downs. My Holly Ryan Picasso necklace makes me sublimely happy (and gets a lot of requests for close-ups over Zoom). Also, I need to tell you that I just bought these Free People seamless rib bike shorts in four colors and haven't looked back." — Natalie Cantell, Senior Director, Branded Content
"Thanks to the recent rise in temperature, I've officially graduated from sweatpants to sweatshorts, and the opportunities feel endless!" — Nicole Eshaghpour, Senior Market Editor
“I’ve realized that tie-dye is slowly taking over my wardrobe, but it makes me happy at the moment, so tie-dye multiple times a week it is for now.” — Allyson Payer, Senior Editor
"I’m living in oversize button-downs right now. They’re relaxed and easy to wear, and they feel a few rungs more elevated than wearing a hoodie or tee. I’m styling them with long shorts, Birkenstocks, and a baseball hat for a relaxed and comfortable look." — Judith Jones, Market Editor
"My outfits at home are revolving around pieces that are comfortable but still feel pulled-together. Right now, I'm loving tees from L.A.-based brand Sporty & Rich, which all feel like a cool throwback to activewear from the '80s and '90s. Though I was really leaning into sweatpants and sneakers last month, I've been more inspired to wear jeans and loafers recently." — Kristen Nichols, Managing Editor
"I'm a firm believer that a good denim jacket can make any outfit look cute, even a pair of sweats and sneakers! I admittedly stole this jacket from my boyfriend, but I'm sure it's getting more use with me than with him. It truly has become my quarantine uniform." — Norah Murphy, Influencer Marketing Associate
"I've always loved matching sets for work, and now I've started to find some great loungewear for the house. This is my new 'day-to-night' look, starting off my morning with Zoom conference calls and ending the evening with Zoom happy hours." — Paulina Galoostian, Senior Influencer Manager
“I live in NYC but didn’t expect to spend three months in L.A. with my family. So I literally only brought one dress. I got this fun floral from Who What Wear collection beforehand, and I wear it whenever I’m over lounge pants. And it never fails to put in me a good mood!”  — Vanessa Muro, Director of Research
