The holiday season is my favorite time of year: I listen to Christmas music almost exclusively starting the day after Thanksgiving, and I make it my mission to admire all of the homes with extravagant, over-the-top decorations in my neighborhood.
When it comes to holiday dressing, though, I go for a less obvious approach. My vibe is festive and fun but not too over-the-top: think a classic cable-knit top rather than tacky Christmas sweaters. The deep-plum color makes them feel special enough to wear to holiday drinks or a family party but isn't quite as obvious as the traditional red-and-green look.
