Cynthia Erivo Shares a Close-Up Look at Her Custom Vera Wang Dress, and Damn, That's Intricate

Cynthia Erivo took a very different turn for the 2021 Critics' Choice Awards after impressing us in neon green, avant-garde Valentino Couture at the Golden Globes. Working with stylist Jason Bolden as she so naturally does, The Outsider and Genius: Aretha star selected a custom Vera Wang gown with an ivory tulle split-away overlay and delicate macramé lace that was hand cut and placed across the sleeves, bodice, and floor-sweeping skirt. Both she and Jason allowed us to zoom in on the details by sharing shots on their Instagram Stories, which we gladly admired.
