With the holiday season quickly approaching, you’re bound to have some sort of travel in your plans. Today I’m sharing a couple packing tips to help ensure you’re not overpacking; instead, you’ll be heading to your destination with all the essentials. I start my packing process by planning out my outfits, and I do this for a couple reasons… First, so I know what I’m wearing while I’m on holiday and not wasting time figuring out what to wear. Secondly, so I’m not packing unnecessary items and accessories that’ll potentially weigh down my bag for no reason. To do this, I follow a three-step checklist for items to possibly remove. Keep reading to find out my helpful packing tips.
I always try and avoid items that are clunky, oversize and don’t travel easily. Instead, I opt for pieces I can quickly roll and shoes that don’t weigh too much. Shop a few of my essentials below.
It’s so easy to load your suitcase with “just one more sweater,” but I always limit myself to two or three depending on how long I’m traveling. Shop my favorite sweaters below.
For me, it’s important to pack with a color theme in mind. This makes it easier to rotate your clothes and rewear items without anyone noticing. I like to stick with gray, white, and black essentials. Shop the pieces I’d pack below.
