I Just Checked H&M and Was Astounded By All the "Rich"-Looking Items I Found https://ift.tt/EpYQWhK

It can't just be me—I had to do a double take when I saw these H&M finds because they're just so stunning. Perusing the site's new arrivals is a weekly (if not daily) activity of mine, and on my latest visit, I came across more than a few finds that actually stopped me dead in my scrolling tracks. While these pieces fall well under the $100 mark, I wouldn't blame you for assuming otherwise.

As a fashion editor, I have a keen eye for spotting expensive-looking details, and since I'm always looking at designer clothing, I can easily spot those luxe details elsewhere. The H&M pieces you're about to see below immediately reminded me of something I would see on a luxury retailer, whether it was an exposed-back dress, a bouclé textured jacket, balloon skirt, or '90s-inspired knits.

To see them for yourself and to shop all of the expensive-looking items in my shopping cart, continue on.

If low-key luxury were an aesthetic, it would 100% involve a beige poncho like this.
Yep, you're only one jacket away from achieving French-girl style.
If you're after that "Chanel girl" look.
If the Bottega Veneta and Prada fall runways had a baby, it would be this balloon skirt.
The wide collar and big pockets are the details that make this far from your average leather jacket.
For anyone like us who's invested in the rosette trend.
This neckline, though.
Small detail, big imapct.
I'm getting major '90s Prada energy here.
How stunning is this texture? It's the kind of detail that makes a simple collared shirt look so interesting and elevated.
Don't you dare forego the matching pants.
The combination of the cable-knit texture and collar here is brilliant.
Classic riding boots like the ones Kate Middleton and Mary-Kate Olsen wear with skinny jeans are a surefire way to appear "rich".
A relatively small price to pay for timeless cashmere.
An entire outfit worth recreating.
A top like this is so easy to wear and yet is the kind of thing that will earn so many compliments.
Calling all fans of The Row—you need this perfectly minimal maxi.
Ultra-chic.
Simplicity as its best.
I don't think I've ever seen cargo pants look this, well, elevated.
Croc-effect for the win.
Effortless but so pretty.
It's giving vacation in Sicily.
Wearing this belt over a blazer like the model did is such a power move.
Try it with a boxier style like this.
I'll take the top and the whole outfit, please and thank you.
Now that's a good sweater.
The trifecta of LBDs—it's versatile, cool, and easy to wear.
Diesel, is that you?
