It may still technically be winter, but I don't care what the groundhog says—I'm already dreaming about all things spring: spring weather, spring travel, spring events, spring cleaning (yes, I'm that kind of girl), but most importantly, spring fashion. So it shouldn't come as a shock that during a recent deep dive on the Saks website, I came up with a plethora of outfit ideas for the season ahead. I'm talking pretty pink and green minidresses for bridal showers, a sleeveless Canadian tuxedo look perfect for a rooftop happy hour, and so much more. In need of inspiration for your wardrobe this season? Keep scrolling for three looks I put together for sunny spring days.
Two words: Canadian tuxedo. This denim trend has been around for a while, but I've recently seen more and more fashion people highlight the pairing. I took a more spring-like approach and swapped out the typical denim jacket for a sleeveless jean vest, and I'm obsessed. Though the two pieces aren't from the same brand (this cute cropped vest is AGOLDE, and the jeans are none other than It brand Khaite), it's almost like they were made for each other. And I didn't stop there with the trends. Metallics are taking over this season, so of course, I had to add a pair of silver stilettos to complete the look.
You know that TikTok sound bite, "Can I hear a little commotion for the dress?" That was my first thought when I put this ROTATE Birger Christensen number on. It's the epitome of spring: bright, floral, and just plain fun. While I'll definitely be wearing this to the bridal showers I'm going to this spring, I can also totally see it as a "wow" outfit moment on vacation or a chic night out with friends. And if you're like me and want even more oomph, add some rhinestones with this Brandon Blackwood bag and Loeffler Randall heels.
I'm not typically a jumpsuit person, but this Rag & Bone piece has officially changed my mind. It's effortlessly cool (your outfit is good to go in literally one step), and it's the softest thing you'll ever put on your body because it's actually a silky fabric that's made to look like denim. I dressed it up with some sparkly mules and a luxe handbag, but you could easily dress it down a bit with sneakers and a baseball cap.
