Real Talk: These 18 Products Will Make Your Hair Healthier https://ift.tt/39l1JL4

Simply put, it's our job to find the best beauty products out there for you. From the newest serum to the hottest lipstick color to the dry shampoo that will change your life, we will find it, test it, and let you know what we think. We're not complaining. It's a pretty fun gig, and we'll volunteer to be beauty guinea pigs any day.

But one of the cool things to come out of this is finding out what products you're loving and buying. It helps us figure out what you want to learn more about and what you're into so we can bring even more personalized recs to you.

Because we share a lot of our favorites with you every single day, we recognize it might be hard to keep up. So we've decided to put together a handy weekly list of what we love and what you love—consider this a CliffsNotes, one-stop shop of what's really trending and worth adding to your cart at this very moment.

This week, we're talking all the haircare products and supplements that will make your strands so much healthier. Take a look at what the Who What Wear universe (including editors, staffers, and readers) is obsessed with right now, and if you don't see a new favorite on this list, we'd love to know. Apply this concentrated treatment to damaged hair before you shampoo. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse and use your regular shampoo and conditioner. The formula works to strengthen and protect hair structure, making your strands look so much healthier. You can use it one to three times a week.
This nourishing oil promotes hair growth by strengthening thinning and weak hair. It also smooths and reduces frizz. Its ingredients include castor oil, caffeine, rosemary oil, and biotin.
This ultra-hydrating cream shampoo is made especially for dried-out and damaged hair. It's got sage and tamanu for a healthy scalp, plus emollients to soften. The clean formula is silicone-free.
You can use this serum as a heat protectant––it protects from heat up to 440ºF. It has other uses, too, like treating split ends and preventing frizz. Ingredients include prickly pear seed oil (which has omegas and amino acids) and tucuma butter (which has fatty acids and carotenoids).
For thinning, limp hair, this shampoo brings it back to life. It cleanses your hair and scalp, removing buildup without stripping it dry.
This rinse not only cleanses your hair and scalp, but it also leaves your strands super shiny. The main ingredient in the rinse is apple cider vinegar, which protects the scalp from free radical damage and removes dandruff flakes. It also has nourishing ingredients like aloe vera leaf juice, glycerin, tamanu seed oil, and cranesbill extract.
While a splurge, Leonor Greyl's deeply nourishing mask is editor approved. "It smells like a bouquet of flowers and transforms even my crankiest hair day—i.e., when it feels like straw. Since I've been at home, I like to let it sit in my hair all day post-shampoo, and then, I'll wash it out after I work out and before I do my evening skincare. It's turned into such a lovely ritual," beauty editor Erin Jahns says.
Another favorite of Jahns, this highly concentrated serum restores damaged hair. "The concept is brilliant—you just add however many drops you want into your other favorite haircare products, and its potent mix of vitamins, linoleic acid, biotin, and sea kelp extract creates the ultimate treatment option for anyone who doesn't like to mess around with masks or other time-consuming hair rituals," she says.
This little tool makes washing your hair so much easier and super relaxing. Many believe that massaging your scalp can improve blood circulation and stimulate the hair follicles.
For thicker and healthier hair, this serum will do the trick if you're consistent with use. The manufacturer recommends applying a few drops to your clean and dry scalp once daily (ideally at bedtime). It's a leave-in treatment, so don't wash your hair after application.
If you need extra hydration and TLC, you can use this ultra-nourishing mask overnight and let it do its thing. Its main ingredient is Mirsalehi honey, which helps maintain a moisture balance.
Biotin can support healthier hair, skin, and nails. These capsules are infused with organic coconut oil and are vegan, non-GMO, and free of soy and gluten.
One of my supplement go-tos, these gummies promote hair growth and stronger strands. After taking them for a couple of months, I noticed that everything looked shinier and that new hairs were growing in.
Another biotin option, Briogeo's supplements also contain omegas 3, 6, and 9, which work to fight irritation and support healthier hair and scalp. The clean formula is vegan and gluten-free.
I bought these supplements in early quarantine when my hair seemed to be falling out like crazy, and they made a huge difference. My hair was shedding less, and it felt much thicker and healthier. You have to take four capsules a day, which seems a lot, but I think it's totally worth it. It contains vitamins A, C, and D, plus biotin and zinc.
Collagen is needed for healthy hair, skin, bones, and joints, so this powder is just good to include in your routine all around. You can mix it into coffee, smoothies, and even soups––it's flavorless.
Take one of these with a meal daily to get your hair in better shape. Biotin supports the nervous system, too.
Cult-favorite Viviscal is beloved by so many because of its crazy-good results. The formula promotes hair growth and reduces hair thinning. Many users see results after three months of consistent consumption. Next up, 19 Epic Beauty Product Discoveries I've Made in This New Era
