Meet Chris Horan, a talented celebrity stylist who works with some of today’s coolest young celebs and has an eye for fashion that feels at once cool, editorial, and of the moment. Today, we’re kicking off our Ask a Stylist series with Horan, where he will be regularly weighing in with his expert take on all things fashion—including all things on and off the red carpet.

For the first installment of the series, I asked Horan to share his take on the coolest fashion labels to know about now. Given his knack for dressing his clients in rising brands on the red carpet and in the pages of magazines, I thought he'd have particularly good insight. Horan regularly turns to Miaou for clients, including Barbie Ferreira. He particularly loves their structured pieces like corset tops for their defined shapes.

Horan immediately mentioned 16Arlington, noting how fun its pieces are. He worked with the brand earlier this year when he was in a time crunch to dress Lena Dunham for the London premiere of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. "They came through in a major way and made a dress for us in 48 hours," he explained.

A British brand with a mastery in bold prints, Richard Quinn is another one topping Horan's must-know list. Even Queen Elizabeth II is a fan—you might remember when she attended his F/W 18 show seated next to Anna Wintour.

Horan mentions that he's very into Loren Stewart jewelry—a brand with beautiful pieces that range from affordable finds to more expensive items designed with details like Keshi pearls.

Horan gravitates toward the prints from UK-based brand Rixo—a brand that is also a constant favorite among Who What Wear editors.

When it comes to bags, Horan immediately mentions Kara, whose bike wallet is a must-buy item, according to him.
