Trust Me—Buy These 23 Things https://ift.tt/2ldqKSi

Trust Me—Buy This is a monthly series where our market editor, Nicole Eshaghpour, makes her favorite real-life fashion finds shoppable for Who What Wear readers.

In case you’re new to this, today I’ll be rounding up my favorite items of the moment with more of a personal spin than your usual shopping story. These special selects are the pieces I’ve been loving not only online but IRL too. With a little help from my shopping-focused Instagram account, @trustmebuythis, where I share my own snaps of items I’m into at the moment, I get to both show and tell you what I’m really wearing every month.

September was a fun one because our team attended New York Fashion Week, and the month marked the beginning of fall—and with it fall style. From sweaters and shoes to new It bags and everyday jeans, below you'll find both the simple and statement pieces that have and will be in my rotation for the coming months.

Ready to see what made the cut so far and, perhaps, do a little bit of shopping for yourself along the way? Just keep scrolling.

Fall is finally here, and I celebrated by wearing this matching knit set by Nanushka. Of course, the temps in NYC haven't quite settled down yet, so I styled it with a tank so that I could take the sweater off as needed. I love matching sets because they always look so put-together as a full outfit, but you can also get more use out of the pieces by wearing them alone. That's exactly what I plan to do with this.
It's no secret that I have a thing for little top-handle bags, and this scrunch-detailed iteration by The Sant is the most recent addition to my collection. The brand is the latest to join Net-a-Porter's vanguard program, which is how we know it's about to blow up.
All I can say is that I'm obsessed with this cardigan and have worn it more times than I'd like to admit recently (one other of which is also documented below). But before you yell at me because it's sold out in pink, let me just tell you that I recently acquired it in the below color as well, and it's definitely still worth the buy. Also, you may recognize this skirt from previous stories, but since I'm still wearing it on repeat (and it's still available to shop), I figured it was worth a re-share.
This photo from NYFW probably captures all the items that are heaviest in my rotation at the moment. This leather skirt had a shockingly good fit without needing any alterations—rarely happens when you're 5'2"—the sunglasses haven't left my person in months, and the shoes are so cute and comfortable they have actually gotten me to wear heels to work regularly.
Now, for the details. This black tank from Bandier and gold chain necklace have been my most-used basic and accessory of the last month as evidenced by their presence in a handful of these photos. The bag is one of two Hayward bags I wore during fashion week (and have continued to wear), and while this exact iteration isn't available to buy online, I found another trendy print that you might even like better.
The cardigan is back, but this time with an affordable Reformation miniskirt. Even though it's clearly a loud print, since it's black and white, I've found that it's so easy to pair with all types of tops, shoes, and bags. Here I'm wearing it with another Hayward bag that's a little larger and more versatile for everyday use and a pair of cross-strap mules that I recently invested in and love.
Something I learned recently is that Song of Style is low-key one of the best brands on Revolve right now. I am obsessed with this radioactive-looking print, and the set has been surprisingly easy to wear a ton of ways from tucked in to belted to partially unbuttoned and loose.
If you couldn't tell already, I'm very into animal prints right now. From snake to zebra to tiger to croc, I think I wore some type of wild print every day of fashion week. This Ganni jacket and Staud bag were two of my favorites because they were easy and comfortable and paired perfectly with my go-to jeans and tanks.
Randomly, I had been on the hunt for a pair of off-white jeans for a while when I finally found this pair by Agolde. They were exactly the loose cut I was looking for, but in case you decide to buy them for yourself, I suggest going down one or two sizes if you don't want them to feel too baggy.
Last, but not least, meet the sneakers I'll probably be wearing every weekend (and some weekdays) this fall. I love the retro velcro detail and, of course, I was sold by the snake print. They look good with blue jeans as seen above, but in my opinion, they look even better with my favorite black denim.
