4 Trends We're Predicting Kate Middleton and Other Royals Will Wear in 2020 https://ift.tt/2Tb2AXk

Hate to break it to you, but the world's fascination with everything the royals do, from what they wear to where they eat, is not dying down any time soon. In fact, with the recent news that Meghan and Harry will be stepping back from their royal duties this year, the interest of us onlookers has officially piqued. With a whole new calendar of social events and appearances, the royal set will be needing an entirely new wardrobe, and while we don't know for certain what they will be wearing, it's certainly fun to guess.

After taking a close look at the spring 2020 runways, there were a few trends we saw that instantly reminded us of the royal family and beyond. Ahead, we are showing you those trends that we think will be worn by royalty in 2020 in addition to some photos of royals who have already donned the trend in the past. And don't worry, we shopped out each royal-approved trend so you can get in on the action as well.

Raffia was spotted all over the spring 2020 runways, particularly in the form of accessories. Considering we've already spotted Kate Middleton wearing the trend a while back, we're convinced we'll see her. along with a handful of other royals, sporting the accessory trend as well.

Besides Bermuda shorts, the waistcoat was the newest addition to the suiting trend this year. Seen worn alone as a top or underneath a blazer to create a three-piece suit, this is one trend that's already been adopted by the royal set meaning we're bound to see more of it in 2020.

One of the hottest color trends on the runway for the spring season was baby pink and it also happens to be a hue beloved by royals everywhere. Kitty Spencer has been a fan of this soft pink color for a while now, so we can't wait to see how she and the rest of the royals style this popular color in 2020.

This trend might not come as a surprise to you, especially if you already have tons of the pattern sitting in your closet, but the spring 2020 runways proved it's one of the biggest trends to know. Our guess is that the royals will be flocking to this trend even more than they already have over the last few years.
